Good Samaritan Saves Two Baby Girls Found in Indiana Ditch After Car Theft. When a good Samaritan walked outside to pick up a delivery, he discovered two baby girls abandoned in a ditch close to his house in Indiana after the car they were in was stolen.
In order to find a silver Hyundai Sonata that was stolen with a 4-month-old daughter and a 5-month-old child in the back seat, Indianapolis police on Monday begged for the public’s assistance.
About 20 minutes after police posted a social media plea for information, authorities posted an update stating that the car had been found and the children were safe.
When the good Samaritan noticed two car seats, he had gone outside to pick up a box. The infant girls had been abandoned in the cold, in the car seats.
After bringing the infants inside, the guy dialed 911. According to the station, police verified that the infants were the missing girls from the pilfered car. Near where the kids were left, the automobile was discovered.
Police spokesperson William Young told WTHR that he was unable to express his gratitude to the good Samaritan.
“The weather is chilly. He remarked, “Who knows what might have happened if this specific person hadn’t gone outside.”
There have been no arrests.
