This Is the Christmas Movie Californians Love Most, According to a New Study

There is a Christmas movie for everyone, regardless of your preference for romance or more action-packed tales. It appears that a new study determined the most popular Christmas movie among Californians.

According to a recent research, California’s favorite Christmas movie is “Home Alone,” a 1990 comedy that follows Kevin McCallister as he protects his house from two burglars when his family leaves for Paris without him.

The study was carried out by Today’s Homeowner, which polled 4,580 Americans in mid-November 2019 to find out which state’s favorite Christmas film was chosen from the Rotten Tomatoes list of the top 50 Christmas films.

Other states concurred with California that “Home Alone” was the best Christmas movie, including Idaho, Maryland, and Louisiana.

The nation’s favorite Christmas movie, however, is “A Christmas Story,” which was selected as the top pick by the majority of the other states.
