Cold Weather Hits Inland Northwest: Daytime Highs will Barely Crack Low 40s. With the exception of patchy fog, the Inland Northwest will see mostly dry and stable weather through the middle of the week, with little to no influence on traffic. Overnight lows fall into the upper teens and 20s, while daytime highs will be in the 30s to low 40s.
Low clouds and fog may vary by location, but an upper ridge is keeping things calm. Patchy fog may persist overnight into Monday in eastern Washington and North Idaho, while a thick layer of stratus clouds continues to cover places like Chelan, Wenatchee, and southeast Washington.
By Tuesday, fog and low clouds are expected to spread out much further, maybe bringing cold or isolated drizzle. By the weekend, high pressure is expected to subside, and there is a risk that light precipitation may return.
