Teen Fugitive, 19, Accused of Killing 70-Year-Old Man in Georgia Carjacking, On the Run in Texas

According to authorities, a guy who is wanted in Texas has been charged with the carjacking and killing of a 70-year-old man in Georgia.

Jaylen Mosley, 19, is the defendant who is suspected of shooting and killing the elderly man during an attempted carjacking, according to arrest warrants issued in Harris County, Texas.

The altercation apparently happened on Saturday night when Mosley attempted to take the man’s car.

In the neighborhood on the 2100 block of Metropolitan Parkway, the victim was found by Atlanta Police at around 6:40 p.m.

Once located, the individual was taken right away to a local hospital for medical attention. Unfortunately, his injuries caused him to succumb, and he was declared dead shortly after.

After the alleged assault, Mosley was quickly taken into custody by the police. He is facing many counts from authorities related to the Georgia event.

These charges include murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, possessing a firearm while committing a felony, and hijacking a vehicle.

As the inquiry goes on, Mosley is still being held at the Fulton County Jail.
