Warm Days and Chilly Nights: Northern California Braces for a Bright and Crisp December. The National Weather Service predicts a warm and dry start to December for Northern California. High pressure is taking the reins after the trough brought light sprinkles into parts of the Bay Area early Sunday. Clear skies and warmer-than-normal temperatures are predicted through the first week of the month.
Monday’s daytime high will reach the mid-60s to low-70s. Coastal areas are even cooler in the upper 50s. Overnight lows move into the 40s overnight. The southern parts are to experience mid-30s.
While there are morning fogs in the North Bay, the week shapes up calm and dry. A report by the Climate Prediction Center reveals that the remaining days in mid-December were likely to be warmer than above average with dry conditions continuing into the middle of the week.
