MADISON, Wisconsin — A 25-year-old guy was detained in Wisconsin on Wednesday night after reportedly pushing a bartender, refusing to pay his bill, and threatening cops.
According to a press release, the Madison Police Department responded to the 600 block of University Avenue in Madison shortly after 11 p.m. for a disturbance at a bar.
A preliminary investigation found that the man shoved the bartender and refused to pay his bill. He allegedly left the bar before authorities arrived, but was found nearby.
Once in detention, the 25-year-old began threatening the officers. He was booked into the Dane County Jail on accusations of disorderly conduct, threats to law enforcement, and fraud against a hotel/restaurant employee.
