The Waukesha County Drug Task Force found a suspected drug dealer in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area who was thought to be sending illegal drugs to southeastern Wisconsin. This was the start of a major drug trafficking case.
A Facebook post from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department says that they have been working with the DEA’s Fort Worth Office on a major investigation that led to a major bust in August 2024.
It was during the raid that a lot of illegal drugs and guns were seized, such as
- About fifty kilograms of cocaine
- 1.1 kg of methamphetamine
- 1.25 kg of heroin
- 10,000 pills of fentanyl
- 1,000 pills of MDMA

Together with government agencies such as the DEA, the Waukesha County Drug Task Force continues to fight drug trafficking and the violence that comes with it, which has real effects on the community.
