LEBANON, Mo. — Six felonies have been brought against a teacher in the Lebanon R-3 School District for sharing inappropriate content with children.
Online court records show that Marcella Cadle is facing two charges of having child pornography on her, three charges of giving pornographic material to a minor, and one charge of fourth-degree abuse.
The Lebanon Police Department (LPD) said in a news release that officers went to the high school after hearing that Cadle was having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
In the probable cause statement that LPD filed, the student told police that Cadle was his ag science teacher and that he got his phone number from Remind, a school app. He said that Cadle had started texting him straight on his phone and told him that he “looked good that day and she liked the way he dressed.”
The kid told the police Cadle texted him for a few days and asked for a picture one time, which the student sent. According to the student, Cadle sent several inappropriate photos and a video of herself right away, as shown in the documents.
In the student’s text messages, which began on Oct. 17, 2024, police found pictures and videos. Records show that nine videos and two pictures of Cadle were found.
