SAN FRANCISCO – A woman, 18, who went missing in San Francisco on Halloween night is being looked for very hard.
The last time Mai Vue was seen was around 11 p.m. on October 31 in the Civic Center neighborhood, near Grove and Larkin Streets.
Friends and family said that the search for Vue has been going on for a long time with no results.
On Wednesday, a family member shared a Facebook post with pictures of Vue and a group of people praying desperately with their arms raised. They asked people to help them find leads.
“Time is crucial as it’s been almost 7 days of Mai Sai being gone,” BeYam wrote. People need to tell everyone they know about the missing teen right away. “We urgently need shares,” she said.
Vue is said to be Asian, 5 feet 1 inch tall, 110 pounds heavy, with brown eyes and black hair.
Police say she was last seen with black pants, black high heels, and a white dress on.
Investigators said in a press release that anyone who finds Mai Vue should call 911 and give their present location and a description of her.
If you know where the young woman might be, please call the SFPD Tip Line at 415-575-4444, according to the police. People can also text TIP411 and start the message with SFPD.
