Seattle Police Woman Stabbed 8 Times in Chinatown-International District

A woman, 52 years old, was stabbed eight times in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District Thursday morning. Police are now looking into what happened.

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) said that officers were called to the area of 12th Ave. S and S King St. because someone had been stabbed.

When the police arrived, they found the victim with several stab wounds. She was handled at the scene and then taken to Harborview Medical Center in very bad shape.

Just east of 8th Ave. S and S King St., police say they found a blood trail and what might have been a crime scene.

No suspects have been found, and no one has been arrested.

The Homicide and Assault Unit of the SPD will be in charge of this probe. No one knows what caused the stabbing.
