BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Early Wednesday morning, two police officers in Kentucky were shot and hurt at a mental health center.
A Bowling Green police spokesperson, Ronnie Ward, said that the cops were being treated at a hospital for injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.
The shooting happened at the LifeSkills Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit, according to the police. Its website says that the center helps people with major mental illnesses.
There was no other information about the killing right away. The Kentucky State Police are looking into it. A message sent to state police asking for feedback was not answered right away.
Ward told the press that the police officers would get better.
