NORTH TEXAS – A beautiful sunrise over North Texas on Wednesday morning was a treat from Mother Nature.
There will be a lot of sunshine on Wednesday, and the afternoon will be very nice. It was cold at the start of the day, with some places getting down to the low 40s.
It was 10 to 20 degrees colder in some places this morning than it was at the same time yesterday. North Texans will enjoy beautiful sunshine and temps rising into the lower 70s by late afternoon thanks to drier air in the sky.
For what’s to come, CBS News Texas meteorologists have declared Friday a First Alert Weather Day because it might rain all over.
In other words, it could rain during Friday night lights.
A cold front and surface low will move toward North Texas on Thursday and Friday. This will bring rain to most of Dallas-Fort Worth until early Saturday morning.
After the front goes through, it will be nice over the weekend, so plan to spend time outside.
