A 33-year-old guy is accused of killing a 69-year-old woman.
After being taken to the hospital with serious injuries, the woman, who has not been named, died.
North Wales Police were called to a house on Thursday night in Rhyl, Denbighshire, on Cefndy Road.
Judges in Llandudno will hear from Dean Mark Albert Mears on Monday. He lives on Bodelwyddan Avenue in Kinmel Bay, Conwy county.
At first, he was jailed on suspicion of trying to kill someone.
The 25-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of helping a criminal has been freed on conditional bail.
Officer-in-Charge Lee Boycott said that the investigation was still going on and asked “anyone with information who has not yet come forward to contact us.”
