Wisconsin Motorcyclist Flees Traffic Stop, Sparks High-Speed Chase with Deputies

Wisconsin police say a motorcycle led them on a chase Sunday night after he or she escaped a traffic stop.

A release from the Barron County Sheriff’s Department says that deputies stopped a motorcyclist for speeding on Sunday evening. As the deputies tried to talk to the motorcyclist, they supposedly ran away.

Officials say that deputies and police officers from the Rice Lake Police Department began a high-speed chase after the suspect motorcycle all over the area.

The chase was finally called off for safety reasons. The Barron County Sheriff’s Office wants anyone who knows anything about the suspect motorcyclist to call them at 715-537-3106.
