At Least 104 Dead in Central Texas Floods; Search Continues for Dozens

  • 41 people still missing, per Governor Greg Abbott.
  • 84 deaths occurred in Kerr County alone.

Camp Mystic Tragedy:

  • Flooding struck Camp Mystic, a private all-girls Christian camp.
  • 10 girls and a counselor still missing.
  • 3 North Texas girls confirmed dead after being recovered from the camp area.

  • Bodies recovered along the Guadalupe River corridor, including:
    • Travis, Williamson, Burnet, Tom Green, and Kendall counties.
  • 20 additional bodies recovered outside of Kerr County.
