31-Year-Old Woman Shot Dead in NYC Home After Altercation with Boyfriend, Sources Reveal

A 31-year-old woman was allegedly shot dead Tuesday night during a fight with her boyfriend inside her Bronx home – and the victim’s wheelchair-bound mom called 911 to sound the alarm when she heard a loud bang, cops and sources said.

Jessica Hoyle was fatally shot in the head minutes after 11 p.m. inside the home on Mickle Avenue in Williamsbridge, police said.

Hoyle’s 57-year-old mother – who uses a wheelchair and lives downstairs – said she heard the couple arguing all day, according to sources.

The domestic clash came to a violent end when Hoyle’s mom heard a bang and called 911 because she couldn’t go upstairs on her own to see what was going on, the sources said.

When cops arrived, Hoyle was unconscious and unresponsive, authorities said. She was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS workers.

Hoyle’s boyfriend fled on foot after the shooting and cops are looking to question him, sources said.
