The 2025 Jefferson County Fair brought Southeast Nebraska to life this weekend with a bee-themed celebration that blended tradition, agriculture, and entertainment. From livestock shows to live music and midget car racing, the fair’s theme, “Make a Bee Line to the Jefferson County Fair,” was felt in every corner of the event.
Organized by a multi-generational board, the fair continues to grow in popularity and engagement. Board member Amy Nippert said the goal remains to showcase the efforts of local youth and foster a sense of unity and fun. “We’re always looking at how we can improve, how we can get more people down here, how we can showcase what these kids have done… we want to showcase what they’ve done all year long,” she said.
